Additionally, users can trade in-game tokens and other assets minted as non-fungible tokens (NFTs) freely outside the game environment. As the native token, ISKRA Token, denoted as $ISK, facilitates various services within the Iskra ecosystem. The $ISK token serves three primary purposes: 1. Exclusive currency for purchasing Pioneer NFTs: After the sale of the 10,000th Pioneer NFT, all remaining Pioneer NFTs can only be bought using $ISK. 2. Governance token: Holders of $ISK have the right to propose and vote on initiatives that guide the governance of the Iskra platform. 3. Key currency: Within the Iskra ecosystem, $ISK serves multiple roles. It can be exchanged for other assets and used as a means of payment for transaction fees and charges related to various services within the platform. The total supply of ISKRA Tokens (ISK) is set at 1 billion, intended to be distributed over a span of 20 years. As of September 2022, approximately 18 million (18,031,944) ISK tokens are in circulation. Detailed information regarding the token distribution plan is available on Eulerpool. A total of 20% of all platform fee revenue will be allocated to the Burning Pool, which is designated for buying back and burning ISK tokens that are in circulation. The ISK token burning process will be conducted periodically by the Iskra Team without prior notice to help stabilize price volatility.
