What you get with LSEG Trade Discovery (FRTB)
The Basel Committee on Banking Supervision (BCBS) has introduced the Fundamental Review of the Trading Book (FRTB) to improve the current global market risk framework by addressing existing shortcomings.
Under FRTB, banks using their proprietary models (Internal Models Approach) must pass the Risk Factors Eligibility Test (RFET), which evaluates the liquidity level of risk factors in their market risk models.
The Trade Discovery solution aids banks in meeting RFET requirements by offering trade and committed quote data for a variety of cross-asset class instruments, whether exchange-traded or OTC, sourced from exchanges, regulated trading platforms, and market infrastructure providers.
