The Turkish central bank reported that the impact of food prices on consumer price inflation remains pronounced in November, while the monthly consumer price inflation excluding food prices shows a more favorable trend. In the minutes of the last monetary policy meeting, where the policy rate was kept unchanged at 50%, the bank stated that signs of improvement in service inflation are becoming more evident.
